Protesters share their message outside of Duke Energy headquarters in Charlotte, N.C.

Protestors from Charlotte Environmental Action "die" on the street after drinking Duke Energy's Coal-Ash Kool-Aid.
I designed and helped write text for this poster — one of the elements of a street-theater protest against Duke Energy's policies of keeping dangerous coal ash in unlined pits. Protestors from Charlotte Environmental Action drank Duke Energy's "Koal-Aid" and "died" on the street in front of the Duke building. Dozens of news cameras, reporters and bistanders were there to witness the drama unfold and the group received plenty of coverage on the evening news and on social media.
